The year 2024 will be a year of reform and innovation for KNX China. From the revision and implementation of the new Constitution, to the addition and adjustment of KNX China's organizational structure, to the joining of the board members and professionals in various industries, the influence and role of KNX China will be brought into greater play.

\u3000\u3000In order to share these new thoughts and ideas with the members, as well as to summarize the whole year's work, share the achievements and experiences, and exchange the existing problems, KNX China held the 2024 KNX China General Meeting and Technical Exchange Meeting on December 6, 2024 at the Hilton Beijing. 2024 KNX China Rotating Chairman, Mr. Li Huiqiang, Director of Market Development, Intelligent Infrastructure Division, Siemens (China) Co. Mr. Li Huiqiang, Director of Market Development of Building Technology Product Division, Mr. Liao Wentao, General Manager of Intelligent Control System Division of Guangzhou Sight & Sound Intelligence Co. Ltd, the new Chairman-in-Office for 2025, the new Executive Directors, Special Advisors, Manufacturer Members, and Registered Members attended the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u3000\u3000Mr. Li Huiqiang, Rotating Chairman of KNX China Organization, made a summary of this year's work. First of all, after the Association implemented the new Constitution this year, it has greatly promoted the development of its members and attracted a large number of excellent enterprises to join the KNX China Organization to merge and innovate in all directions of KNX IoT, KNX Security and KNX Energy Management, launching KNX products with their own characteristics, and empowering the digitized energy-efficient buildings. Meanwhile, KNX China Association has organized and participated in a wealth of marketing activities, including participating in the Aladdin Lamp Award in the Digital Intelligence category; organizing KNX roadshow activities; participating in the Guangzhou International Building Electrical Technology Exhibition and Shanghai International Intelligent Building Exhibition, organizing the KNX members' joint exhibition and hosting the KNX Technology Forum, and organizing the training of KNX certified application engineers, etc., which has effectively advertised and promoted the KNX standard, technology and application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, in order to respond more effectively to the needs of the Chinese market and better serve its members, KNX China has made significant changes in its organizational structure, announcing the new organizational structure of KNX China. On the basis of the Secretariat under the Board of Directors, a number of specialized working groups have been established, including the Domestic Market Group, the Examination and Training Group, the Standards Development Group, the Testing and Certification Group and the Overseas Market Group. An executive director was also set up to undertake the tasks of the working groups. This series of reform initiatives laid the foundation for the in-depth development of the Association. The chairman said that the association is constantly innovating and developing, and with more and more members joining, we are committed to building a dialog platform for all participants to jointly construct and build the KNX ecosystem. He also emphasized the need to always take standards as the core to promote the sustainable development of KNX, actively promote the updating of national standards, expand the influence of KNX, and make concerted efforts to make the KNX cake bigger.

\u3000\u3000After the implementation of the new Charter, six new outstanding KNX manufacturer companies joined the KNX China organization this year as Samsung Manufacturer Members, they are: Eisner Intelligent Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Leyuan Life Technology Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Haiying Electric Technology Co., Ltd, Mingwei (Guangzhou) Electronics Co., Ltd, Taitron Technology Co., Ltd, Hangzhou YiYue Technology Co. In order to thank them for their efforts in KNX product development and application, a medal awarding ceremony was held at the conference.

\u3000\u3000In this conference, STMicroelectronics Automation Technology Innovation Center, Shenzhen TuringSense Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Yingqi Technology Co. Ltd. and Xiamen Yingqi Technology Co., Ltd. presented \"How to Make KNX Product Development Easier\", \"ST KNX Solution Enabling Low-Carbon Life\" and \"Yingqi Smart Space KNX Solution\" respectively, and made in-depth technical sharing from the directions of chip design, product development and product application. ST, as a KNX chip supplier, not only provides customers with KNX chip solutions, but also provides energy management solutions in smart villas, office sustainability, parking system to realize KNX EV charging piles and other projects, and actively promotes the construction and development of smart cities.

\u3000\u3000In order to implement the various work plans for next year, strengthen cooperation with various industries and build a high-quality ecosystem for KNX, the KNX China Organization Council appointed three executive directors and seven advisors, and presented them with appointment certificates. The three executive directors made a report on the working groups they are in charge of and the work they are doing, and exchanged ideas with the members on the spot. The advisors also expressed that they would actively cooperate with KNX China Association and utilize their advantages in the fields of KNX vocational skills training, World Skills Competition, KNX Eco-Exhibition, product testing and certification, architectural design and development of diversified industries, and smart home industry alliance, etc., so as to jointly promote the further development of KNX.
